譬喻

A parable, metaphor; the (sa) avadāna section of the canon, v. [lang id =1028]阿波; there are numerous categories, e.g. the seven parables of the <Lotus Sūtra>, the ten of the <Prajñā> and <Vimalakīrti sūtra>s, etc.
